God of Faithfulness

God has promised where two or thee are gathered together in his name, he will be there amongst them.

Most of us can no longer meet together physically, even in numbers as small as two's or three's; and yet, we can still be together united in the body of Christ.

Bind us together Lord, bind us together, with cords that cannot be broken,

Bind us together Lord, bind us together, O bind us together in love.

Lord, we give you thanks, and we praise you.

for in spite of our weaknesses,

and in spite of our poverty of spirit,

you are always faithful in your love for us.

Though we let you down, and turn away from your presence,

you never give upon us, never forget us, never stop loving us.

So we listen for your faithful word today,

"Lo, I am with you always, even to the end"

Lord, we pray today for all who are feeling lost, and lonely.

Those who are conscious of their sinfulness,

Those who are worried and anxious,

Those whose health is failing,

Those who are grieving the loss of a loved one.

May they, and we, find our hope and strength

in the God, who's mercies are new every morning

The God who is is faithful to the end.

You are the family of God

you are his promise divine

you are God's chosen desire,

you are the glorious new wine.
