Saturday 27th March
On Sunday we enter into the most Holy of weeks in the Christian calendar, from Palm Sunday to Easter morning we follow Jesus as he makes his way to the Cross and beyond.
This means that our Lenten journey together is coming to an end.
And so this will be the last post for the time being.
I have enjoyed walking the Jesus road with you, and have been grateful for all the the times of reflection and prayers we have shared along the way.
Matthew 17:22-23 Jesus Predicts His Death a Second Time
When they came together in Galilee, he said to them, “The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men. They will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised to life.” And the disciples were filled with grief.
Lord Jesus Christ,
in this sacred and solemn week when we see again the depth and mystery
of your redeeming love,
help us to follow where you go,
to stop where you stumble,
to listen when you cry,
to hurt as you suffer,
to bow our heads in sorrow when you die,
so that when you are raised to life again,
we may share your endless joy,
Amen.
I wish you God's blessing as you journey on,
Go well,
Stay safe,
In Jesus name,
Amen.
